Q. What is the difference between a regular used vehicle and a GM-certified used vehicle?

A. GM-certified used vehicles undergo a rigorous 117-point inspection process. Vehicles that pass are eligible for an extended warranty from the manufacturer and often discounted financing rates from the finance division of the manufacturer. There are low-mileage, well-maintained vehicles that hold their value longer and are more desirable for future sales. In addition, each GM-certified vehicle comes standard with a 5-year (from original date of purchase)/100,000 mile Power-Train Warranty.

Q. How does the Diver Chevrolet credit application process work?

A. Whether it's for a new or used vehicle, you fill out a free credit application. One of our certified representatives evaluates your application, and then forwards it to one of our nationwide network of lending institutions. Then we go to work finding you the most money with the absolute lowest interest rate. You choose the vehicle you are interested in and drive home happily!

Q. Can Diver Chevrolet finance customers who have had credit problems?

A. Our dealership works with a variety of banks and financing for our customers. They all have different credit criteria and base their interest rates on the customer's payment history. Many of our lenders offer loans for consumers that have had past credit issues, including bankruptcies. While the interest rate will be a bit higher than someone with perfect credit, we work hard to keep your monthly payments within your budget.

Q. Do I need an appointment to service my vehicle?

A. The Diver Service team will always welcome you and your vehicle at your convenience! If you require emergency assistance, have an alternative means of transportation or can wait, bring your vehicle in immediately. If your schedule is very tight and it's easier for you to drop your vehicle off on the way to or coming from work, we recommend setting an appointment by calling one of our Service Advisors %SERVICE% or by scheduling a service appointment online. If your current vehicle is equipped with OnStar simply push the blue button and ask the Advisor to connect you to our Service Department. 24 Hour Night time and weekend drop off if available as well!

Q. How long does it take to get an Oil Change at Diver?

A. Diver has a team of dedicated Oil Change Technicians who perform this service in approximately 45 minutes from the time you check in to the time you have paid your bill. Appointments are available in 30 minute intervals between 7:00 AM & 5:00PM Monday through Friday and Saturday 7:00 AM until 12:00 Noon. In order to minimize the time you spend in our waiting area, we encourage you to set up an Oil Change time that is most convenient for your schedule. Drop-ins are welcome with the time to complete the oil change dependent on the service activity at that time.
